Somewhere Further Than Here is a set of photographs taken on Sep 4th 2007 while on an outing in with friends in the country side of Sanwa in Hiroshima prefecture, Japan. Like last time, the lighting was shit as well as too many people packed into a small venue so I was pretty restricted with my angles and positions. This time I [...] Look up and observe, there’s a lot of wires & lines up there all connected and I’ve always been fascinated by the amount I see in Japan whether in the city or in the middle of nowhere. I’m not sure exactly what it is but each element creates a powerful setting. Clouds, massive towers, [...] A photo essay on a recent trip to Ōkunoshima, An island in the Seto Inland Sea of Japan where nerve gas was produced during WWII and deployed in China. What remains are scattered ruins around the island of a nerve gas manufacturing plant, a power station and tunnels and buildings. Strange thing is considering [...] Last year I was in a little bleach bypass post processing phase which got a little tiring but this shot works well with that gritty, urban style. This was taken down the scary end of Fukuyama station where no man fears to tread, well guess what JR staff, the only thing I fear is [...] Spotmatic SP + S-M-C Takumar 28mm + Fuji Across 100 = multi exposure madness. He was accompanied by fellow KINGDOM☆AFROCKS members IZPON (percussion) & Daisuke (guitar) at an intimate acoustic show at Best Wishes bar in Fukuyama, Hiroshima on August 12th.
