A few weeks ago the zine sold out at the Sticky Institute. It was more like a test batch to see how they would sell, since there was a little success and they requested more, I made the 2nd batch a littler more special. I have added an original, colour photo which was taken [...] Since I’ve been on a film fix lately I dug out my old Holga negatives and did a few re-scans for better digital archiving purposes. Maybe some of you don’t know what Holga cameras are so a little schooling is in order, they are made in China and were first developed there in [...] Another shot where I hover the Holga lens in front of the K10D open mount. It’s not easy to focus as the lens isn’t actually attached to the body but far from difficult. The light leaks were an added bonus and really brings out the Holga type effect, although I added the vignette [...] Holga Lens : ISO – 400 : Shutter – 1/750 This image was shot through two lenses, the Auto Tamron was attached to the K10D and held a detached Holga lens in front of it. The image itself looks pretty holgerish with the out of focus elements and saturation levels, although I did [...] It was back in July or August ’06 that I first got re-interested in photography when I purchased a Holga 120 CFN through a shop that sells lomographic gear imported by Superheadz in Japan. All these stores have a corner with all this cool lomo stuff and I just felt like spending some money. [...] |
