Another duChemin book, another review but as I’ve said in his other book reviews, he’s a inexpensive source of invaluable information. Always based around the idea of bettering your photography through vision and composition over the latest and greatest new tool. ‘The Inspired Eye’ takes a slight detour from his previous books as this [...] Another ebook by David duChemin? Not that I’m complaining because for $5 he’s divulging his secrets and pointing out many common sense ideas and practices to all photographers wanting to better their images. This ebook follows ‘Drawing The Eye‘ (read my review) which discussed the idea behind visual mass, ‘Chasing The Look’ continues in [...] Not photography related but it’s a gadget none the less, and since I don’t get too many new toys I’m going to brag about it here. Introducing my new baby, the Acer 3935 ultra-portable notebook. It’s bronze, 13.3″, has a Core Duo 2 2.4 Ghz processor and is stuffed with 4gb of memory goodness [...] Before I say anything about the contents of this book, I’ll just state a couple of things. One, it’s a pdf, meaning it’s a digital file, not a physical book. Second, it’s $5 US. Now even if it were a shitty book and David duChemin had no idea what he was talking about, spending [...] Just received my RF-602 Wireless flash triggers which are usually Yongnuo branded but mine are HAVE branded, they are for off camera flash and replace my cactus V2s which misfires 60% of the time and that’s on a good day. Since getting into photography I haven’t actually read any books, getting most of my info online. As my skills increase, my craving for more specialized aspects of photography grow also.
